Industry leaders will discuss new best practices November 12 to 15.
The Department of Labor announced that the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) will hold its mining safety training conference in Beaver, West Virginia, this week. The four-day event will gather industry leaders and health trainers together in a variety of workshops and presentations, incorporating best practices and new approaches for the protection of metal, nonmetal, and coal miners.
“MSHA is proud to again host the Training Resources Applied to Mining Conference, a tuition-free conference featuring presentations from some of the industry’s most respected safety and health trainers,” said Assistant Secretary for Mine Safety and Health Chris Williamson. “TRAM remains a valuable opportunity to work together to ensure that miners return home safe and healthy at the end of their shifts to their families and communities.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Assistant Secretary Williamson as he oversees the Office of Mine Safety and Health.
- For U.S. labor officials as they support training and education for job and occupational safety.
